Vive el socialism! 😂 rather comical, instead of fine dining. Food was ok, albeit too expensive, for what you get. The last time I saw food and used dishes being shuffled around on a push tray was in a mainland China restaurant and a train in Russia. I was rather surprised to see that happen last night here as well. My LA view was an open swing door that never got the chance to swing, but it allowed me to study in detail some electric installations for the entire dinner time. Scallops tasted as if the vinegar bottle passed over them too long, and the half lobster from the menu was more a quarter as it seemed to be missing some parts. The bill turned out to be very fine dining, but that was definitely not what we experienced last night. It wasn't the first time we had dinner in LA View, but the last.

We had CEVICHE as a starter. It was a super delicious plate. very unique taste, I had to speak to the cheff to learn more about the recipe. Highly recommended !

We wanted something a bit different and a bit special for our anniversary and we couldn't have done better. We booked on the fork so it was easy to let the restaurant know we were celebrating and request a nice table out on the terrace. The view is fantastic as you might expect from a restaurant called La View!
From the moment we arrived the hostess (Elena, if I remember correctly!) was absolutely superb. She made us feel very welcome and was later very attentive as we looked through the wine and food menus. The waiters were all equally pleasant and helpful. None of the surliness you often get from restaurants nearer the action.
They brought us a very nice complimentary cava and fresa which fitted the occasion perfectly as we looked through the menus. There were four of us and we had tempura, ceviche and an artichoke salad as starters. We had cochinillo, seared tuna and two went for octopus as mains. We don't normally do dessert and we were all full but couldn't resist the description of the chocolate pearls dessert and shared two between us.
The restaurant was quiet which was nice but with a nice atmosphere and enough people to not feel as if you were there alone.
As we were leaving Elena mentioned they were having live music on during the summer so we'll definitely be back to check that out as it's a very romantic location for a singer on a warm evening.

On my opinion La View is one of the best restaurants around Marbella. First of all they have the best chief-cook of the area. The quality of the food like by this chief have only 2-3 restaurants in the area of Marbella nearby their prices are VERY reasonable. Second - Very pleasant and charming views, one side to the see, another - to the tropical 🌴 garden and golf course… And as well very important is attention of the owners, which are very friendly and take attention to details. Highly recommended 👍🏻 I was totally satisfied 👍🏻
